(Clarkston, WA) Poe Asphalt recently received two awards at the Washington Asphalt Pavement Association Annual Convention in Bellevue, Wash. Each year WAPA, WSDOT, the American Public Works Association (APWA-WA) and the Washington Association of County Engineers (WACE) award those paving projects judged to be the most outstanding in the State. These awards speak to the level of quality and excellence that Poe Asphalt puts in to every project.

The 2018 awards include first place for best airport paving in Washington for the reconstruction of taxiway J at Fairchild Air Force Base done in 2017, as well as recognition for high quality asphalt pavement construction on contract number 9062 for Junction US 195 to Bishop Boulevard paving on State Route 270 from the Washington State Department of Transportation completed in 2017.
